To cancel ClickFreeScore, call Customer Service at (855) 504-5101 or sign into your member portal and use its chat service. There is no self-serve cancel button. The homepage advertises “7 Day $1 Trial Access”, and the company’s own BBB replies say the monthly membership begins once the trial ends, so cancel before day 7 if you only wanted the trial.
ClickFreeScore’s Member FAQ says that “After cancelling your membership there will be no future charges.” Ask for a confirmation either way, and keep it until your next statement clears.
ClickFreeScore is owned by Norscore, LLC, 1266 East Main Street, Soundview Plaza Suite 700R, Stamford, CT 06902, according to its FAQ page.
Related: ViewFreeScore is a separate credit score service run by a different company, with its own cancellation steps.
How Do I Cancel My ClickFreeScore Subscription Over the Phone?

Phone is the cancellation route named first in ClickFreeScore’s Member FAQ: “you may do so at any time by contacting our Customer Service Representatives at (855) 504-5101.”
- Call (855) 504-5101 during business hours
- Monday-Friday 9 AM-9 PM EST,
- Saturday 9 AM-4 PM EST,
- Sunday 1 PM-6 PM EST.
- Have Your Details Ready: The FAQ asks for your Member ID, first and last name, and the address used to sign up.
- Request Cancellation: Say clearly that you want to cancel your ClickFreeScore membership.
- Request Confirmation: Ask for a confirmation number or email, and note the date, time and the representative’s name.
- Monitor Your Bank: Check statements for 30 days to ensure no further charges.
If No Answer: The line is staffed only during the hours above (Eastern time). Outside those hours, cancel through the chat in your member portal instead.
Tip: If you are still in the $1 trial, call before the 7 days end, and keep your confirmation until the date the first monthly charge would have posted has passed.
How to Cancel ClickFreeScore Online?

If you’d rather not call, the Member FAQ says: “If you wish to cancel your subscription online, please sign into your member portal and use our convenient chat service.” This works the same in every state.
- Log In: Visit clickfreescore.com and sign into your member portal using your email and password.
- Open the Chat: Start the chat service from inside the member portal. ClickFreeScore doesn’t publish the exact menu labels.
- Request Cancellation: Tell the agent you want to cancel your membership, and give your Member ID if asked.
- Save Proof: Screenshot the chat and request a confirmation email.
- Check Billing: Ensure no charges appear after the current billing cycle ends.
Charged after cancelling? Contact ClickFreeScore first with your confirmation details. If that doesn’t resolve it, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
What Happens After You Cancel ClickFreeScore?
ClickFreeScore’s FAQ says that after you cancel “there will be no future charges.” It doesn’t say whether access continues until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- Access Ends: Expect to lose member portal access, credit reports and alerts.
- Confirmation: You should receive a cancellation email. Save it.
- Later Charges: Some BBB complainants in 2024–2025 reported charges after they believed they had cancelled. Keep your confirmation.
- Promotional Emails: Some users still get marketing emails; unsubscribe via the email link.
Post-Cancellation Steps
- Check Statements: Watch your card statements for the next two billing dates and dispute any charge made after your cancellation date.
- Credit Freeze (Optional): A freeze with Experian, Equifax and TransUnion is a separate step from cancelling ClickFreeScore. Consider it if you shared your Social Security number on a site you didn’t mean to sign up for. (If you also pay for Experian’s own plan, see how to cancel Experian.)
- Free Reports: The CFPB says you can get free credit reports from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion at AnnualCreditReport.com, and “may also be able to view free reports more frequently online.”
Why ClickFreeScore Charges After the $1 Trial
Many people sign up to check a credit score for a rental or job application. The “7 Day $1 Trial Access” offer on the ClickFreeScore homepage becomes a paid monthly membership when the trial ends unless you cancel.
In a BBB reply dated September 11, 2025, Norscore said a customer “signed up for a 7 day $1 trial” and agreed to offer terms stating “that after the trial ended, his monthly membership would begin.” Its other replies describe a 4-page signup that asks for date of birth, Social Security number and full card details.
The monthly price isn’t shown on the public pages we could read, and the Terms of Service page blocks automated access, so check the price on your signup confirmation or card statement. BBB complainants reported charges of $39.90 (2025) and $29.95 (2024).
- Trial: $1 for 7 days (“7 Day $1 Trial Access”, ClickFreeScore homepage).
- After the Trial: The monthly membership begins (Norscore BBB reply, September 11, 2025).
- BBB: Norscore US, LLC is not BBB-accredited and showed 125 complaints in the past three years when we checked on October 5, 2026.
